The interview went out yesterday at 19:00. At 19:30 I looked at the viewing statistics and - there were only 23 views. "Not great" I thought and decided to see how many views it would have in the morning. And when I opened Youtube at 11 o'clock I was pleasantly surprised. For 16 hours the interview was viewed by almost 6 thousand people (screenshot in the comments).
After another hour, I went in to see how the video was progressing. And I couldn't find it. I contacted the studio and found out that Youtube deleted it. According to the official version for discriminatory statements (of course, without explaining what exactly was discriminatory). I watched the interview several times while preparing it for broadcast. Neither I nor the guest once made any derogatory insulting words against Ukrainians (like the word "khohol", which YouTube takes as an insult) or appeals.
And although all these statements in the video are monitored by robots, it is likely that the video was removed for political reasons. Perhaps some of the "non-brothers" complained about it because it debunks the heroic myth about the "defenders" of Azovstal and their forced "evacuation", telling how a numerically superior Ukrainian garrison (2,000-plus people), with serious food and water supplies, was forced to surrender by "Donetsk cops" from Cascade (200 people). Or because it raises the uncomfortable question for Zelensky and the Ukrainian leadership that they actually condemned the Azovstal garrison to a "heroic" death in a hopeless resistance.
