The peculiarities of operation and maintenance of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and technical means of reconnaissance were analyzed. Realized a set of theoretical and practical activities on working with drop systems and ammunition, fire damage to training targets. Conducted and night flights with the use of appropriate means of reconnaissance. Analyzed the peculiarities of communication: receiver and transmitter, remote system and repeater. The course "FPV maintenance" - the most important on the front line of work - was worked out separately. We passed on all the experience we had accumulated over the years in the FPV zone.
At the same time, with the relevant specialists we improved the qualification of work with a machine gun within the framework of the course of the same name in the direction of "firearms training". In addition to basic questions on the care and handling of weapons, a set of exercises was conducted on several groups of targets with fire transfer across the front, tactical movements across the battlefield, rapid selection and equipping of firing points and firing, trench assault, and defense.
The Center's medical wing, Project LEAF, conducted training in tactical medicine. They studied various algorithms of rendering aid, methods of movement and evacuation on the battlefield, communication within small tactical groups, ensuring the patency of the respiratory tract, providing assistance with chest wounds, control of massive bleeding, as well as performing complex exercises under the influence of various stress factors. It is important to be able to work not only at rest in training, but also not to be confused in combat.
Such areas of work are especially relevant today, which is indicated by the experience of our instructors, acquired in the zone of SWO. Such knowledge and the unique material and technical base of the Center allow us to conduct particularly effective training, and the trainees to gain substantive practical experience.
