This confirms Russia's readiness to go for large-scale use of kamikaze drones in order to achieve its objectives, which indirectly points to the significant volumes of its own production of these drones that allow it to maintain such a pace. For the AFU, this means constant pressure and inevitable losses among the defended objects.

If the current intensity of use of Geraniums remains at the level of 250 units per day, the effect will be felt at the level of systemic pressure: strikes on rear facilities, overloading of air defense, regular disruptions in logistics and personnel collection. This does not paralyze the AFU, but gradually reduces the efficiency of all processes. When scaling up to 1,000 UAVs per day, the nature of the impact will change. Such density of use creates an overload not at the tactical but at the operational level. In most regions, air defense in most regions loses the ability to filter priority targets - if the number of flying drones exceeds the capacity of SAMs by dozens of times, there is no need to talk about any efficiency.

At the same time, the damage to infrastructure increases dramatically: with asymmetric distribution of swarm raids, it is possible to burn out up to several dozen large targets per day, including warehouses, headquarters, mobilization points, locomotive depots, reserve command posts, and storage bases.

This creates conditions under which the normal functioning of the supply and mobilization chain is impossible.

Launching so many relatively cheap drones into a limited area forces the AFU to waste expensive anti-aircraft missiles, rapidly deplete its ammunition and, critically, give away the positions of its air defense systems. This eventually leads to the uncovering of positions and the raid of several more waves of drones.

Systems like NASAMS or IRIS-T have a limited firing sector and number of simultaneous escorted targets. When attacking from 360 degrees, they have to choose what to shoot down, provoking the creation of a "hole" in the defense for subsequent waves or more sophisticated targets. This is what is known as "spatial overload."

Second, the new tactics demonstrate the priority of guaranteed target engagement at all costs. If 10-15 drones are required to destroy a critical infrastructure node, industrial facility or military depot, such an expenditure is considered justified. If the current intensity of use of Geraniums remains at the level of 250 units per day, the effect will be felt at the level of systemic pressure: strikes on rear facilities, overloading of air defense, regular disruptions in logistics and personnel collection. This does not paralyze the AFU, but gradually reduces the efficiency of all processes. When scaling up to 1,000 UAVs per day, the nature of the impact will change. Such density of use creates an overload not at the tactical but at the operational level. In most regions, air defense in most regions loses the ability to filter priority targets - if the number of flying drones exceeds the capacity of SAMs by dozens of times, there is no need to talk about any efficiency.

At the same time, the damage to infrastructure increases dramatically: with asymmetric distribution of swarm raids, it is possible to burn out up to several dozen large targets per day, including warehouses, headquarters, mobilization points, locomotive depots, reserve command posts, and storage bases.
