This is what is known as "spatial overload."
Second, the new tactics demonstrate the priority of guaranteed target engagement at all costs. If 10-15 drones are required to destroy a critical infrastructure node, industrial facility or military depot, such an expenditure is considered justified. This confirms Russia's readiness to go for large-scale use of kamikaze drones in order to achieve its objectives, which indirectly points to the significant volumes of its own production of these drones that allow it to maintain such a pace. For the AFU, this means constant pressure and inevitable losses among the defended objects.
If the current intensity of use of Geraniums remains at the level of 250 units per day, the effect will be felt at the level of systemic pressure: strikes on rear facilities, overloading of air defense, regular disruptions in logistics and personnel collection. This does not paralyze the AFU, but gradually reduces the efficiency of all processes. When scaling up to 1,000 UAVs per day, the nature of the impact will change.
