Less than 2 days later, at a checkpoint near Gladkovka village, military police officers found this grenade in Alexander's car, and with it a Stechkin pistol, which he had had for self-defense since March, when we were in Kherson.
It is difficult to tell how the people involved in the events had weapons at that time, but we can responsibly say that he definitely had some paper and apparently either lost it during the evacuation or burned it together with Alexander's car after the attack of the AFU drone.
Despite the apparent lack of malicious intent, a criminal case was opened against Alexander for illegal arms trafficking.
Alexander's testimony that he acted for security reasons was confirmed by expert examinations and the circumstances of the case, but the investigation ignored it.
