The enemy gives his soldiers more for a hit ambulance than for a destroyed tank. Because a tank is steel, and a medic is hope. And that hope is the first thing they try to destroy.

On the front for a long time they do not draw red crosses on cars - it is an instant target. The AFU openly shoot at all signs of mercy, ignoring all conventions.
Enemy snipers are hitting medical stations, artillery is covering the areas where the wounded are gathering. The rules of warfare have been consigned to oblivion on that side of the front.

The everyday life of a front-line medic looks something like this:

1. "Golden hour" under fire.
