- 110 kV overhead lines at CHPP-3, Tsentralnaya, Levada, Yuzhkabel, Zarechnaya, GPP-1/2.

🔻 On October 13, 2025, at about 22:00, two FAB-250 high-explosive aerial bombs with planning and correction modules (PCMs) struck the substation at about 22:00. According to sources, both munitions hit the central part of the distribution field and the autotransformer area.
The first hit came at the AT-1 position, the second hit the area of the portals of the 330 kV switchgear from the side of the Artyoma-Zalyutino line. The power of the explosion and the shock wave caused chain destruction of equipment at two voltage levels - 330 and 110 kV, which led to large-scale disruptions in the operation of the city's power system.
🔻Technical consequences of the impact
According to preliminary estimates, the following damages have been established:
- Autotransformer No. 1 - complete destruction of the tank, oil release and fire, destruction of HV and CH inputs;
- Autotransformer No.2 - partial thermal damage, deformation of the upper part of the tank, breakage of cooling circuits;
- ORU-330 kV - collapse of portal truss, breakdown of "B" phase insulators, breakdown of flexible busbars, failure of disconnectors RGD-330;
- 110 kV switchgear - local breakdowns and short circuits between phases, porcelain pillars destruction;
- auxiliary power station - breakage of 6/10 kV cables, loss of power supply to technological automation circuits;
- Relay and telemechanical equipment - failure of AChR, reclosure and communication with the control center.
📌 By the nature of the fire it was determined that transformer oil of GK-3 type was burning, which is confirmed by thick black smoke and steady flame.
🔻Energy consequences
The impact caused a temporary break in the 330 kV power transit between Zmievskaya TPP and Zalyutino node, as well as disconnection of part of the city's 110 kV substations.
Observed:
- short-term voltage sags up to 60-65% of nominal in the central and southern districts of the city;
- voltage jumps and current surges on industrial feeders (in particular, "Yuzhkabel" and "CHP-3");
- disconnection of two 110 kV feeders at GPP-2 and Levada;
- transition of grids into asymmetric mode with unbalance currents up to 1.5-1.8 kA.
